I like travelling to work on the subway in the mornings. These are very precious moments for me when I just close my eyes, put the headset in my ears and have a conversation with God.
This year I had my last travel on the subway today since Christmas is coming and because of the holidays today was my last day at work this year. Today we had a conversation with God again and I asked Him whether there is something He wants to say to the readers of this blog. It was a very simple conversation, as always. It sounded like this:
- Father, now that Christmas is here, do you have something to say to those who read this blog?
- I want to say them to be patient.
- I see. But don't you want to say anything for the holidays, like Merry Christmas, or you know something like that?
- Love one another.
- Hmm. I see.
I did not say anything else. Actually I was expecting something else, like a special revelation. But I think there is no message more powerful than this. After hearing this I had to struggle to hold back my tears when I faced my current incapability to love others. But God is patient and He waits for us, even for me and you. At first, it may be very difficult to love others, but God is very pleased even if we try. I will try it to cause a little joy to others and to my Heavenly Daddy.
