'Evil things can not touch me'

Jesus always has something new for us. I want to know Him completely, I want to know His voice. I do not want to miss a chance to pay attention to Him when He says something. Or when He says something funny, I do not want to miss it. I really want to know Him. But the truth is that the more I know Him, the more I feel that there are so many things I do not know about Him. He always shows something completely new about Himself.

The other day I sat down to have a little chat with Jesus, and this time again I could see Him as never before. I could see how He relates to us, to people.
The fact is that we people do not always have our hearts full of love... Unfortunately the world is full of bitterness and anger, and unfortunately, these things are sticky. They can easily come into our hearts. And in such a cases, the heart of others will not melt away as they look at us.

But I have a good news. Jesus does not look at us the way others do. The Bible says God is love. And love can not look at us differently, just with love. Jesus also relates to each person with love. There's no other way for Him to relate to us. This time Jesus showed me a picture so that I could understand this better:

I saw a completely distorted, yellow, angry, dog-like creature who did nothing but barked and barked, filled with anger. It was not a pleasant sight. If anyone came to him, he would have bitten him, but not because of any reason for that, but because he was completely angry. He barked constantly and did not stop.
And then Jesus came to him and embraced him with such infinite love that man would not be able to. He simply leaned over to him and from his side and He embraced him at the neck. But this embrace was not a simple hug: it contained complete acceptance, pure love and joy in the same time. Jesus wants to embrace every one of us with such an embrace. With acceptance, love, and with the joy because finally He can show us how much He is very fond of us...

As I looked at this picture, suddenly a thought came up to my mind: wait how is it possible that this dog-like angry creature does not bite Jesus?

Jesus how can this be? I asked him. The answer was simple:
'Look, evil things can not touch me.' Jesus replied.

Oh, yes... well it sounds logical ... :)

But what does this picture really mean? It means two things. One meaning is that it is more important for Jesus to love you than all the anger you have, and at whom you are angry and why. It is more important for Jesus to show his acceptance than to look at what you think of others. For Jesus, the most important thing is to share His love, peace and joy with you. For Him, it is more important to tell you that life is good than your complaining about how bad your life is. He wants to embrace you even now in this moment.

But there is another thing that this image means. If you love Jesus, He lives in you. Just think about it: if Jesus lives in you, and He can not be touched by evil things, what does it mean?

Yes, exactly that! Then it means that you can not be touched by evil things either!

Now you could say this: What? Evil things can not touch me??? But I'm constantly experiencing that this world is full of wickedness, and it does not leave me alone.

Yes, I know ... and believe me it does not leave me alone either... But think about it, if Jesus could live in you in such an extent that He fills you completely, then you really could not be touched by evil things since Jesus lives in every single cell of yours. He is there in all your thoughts, in all your feelings, in all your words and in all your actions.

Ever since this picture was shown to me by Jesus, my only desire is that He fills me completely so that evil things can not touch me. I desire this with all of my heart.

"Engem a gonoszság nem érinthet"

Jézus mindig valami újat tartogat számunkra. Én szeretném Őt teljesen megismerni, szeretném ismerni a hangját. Nem szeretnék elszalasztani egy lehetőséget sem, hogy, amikor modanivalója van, akkor ne figyeljek oda. Vagy, amikor mond valami vicceset, akkor azt ne halljam meg. Tényleg szeretném ismerni Őt. De az az igazság, hogy minél jobban ismerem Őt, annál inkább azt érzem, hogy még annyi mindent nem tudok Róla. Mindig valami teljesen újat mutat meg magából.

A napokban leültem, hogy egy kicsit beszélgessünk Jézussal, és most is úgy láthattam Őt, ahogy eddig még soha. Láthattam, hogyan viszonyul hozzánk, emberekhez.
Az a helyzet, hogy mi emberek nem mindig vagyunk azok azok a csupa szív, szeretettel teli teremtmények... A világ sajnos tele van keserűséggel, indulatokkal és haraggal, és ezek sajnos egy ragadós dolgok, könnyen befészkelődnek a szíveinkbe. Ilyenkor bizony nem olvad el egyből mások szíve, ahogy ránk néznek.

De van egy jó hírem. Jézus nem úgy néz ránk, ahogy mások. A Bibliában az áll, hogy Isten a szeretet. És a szeretet nem tud máshogy ránk nézni, csakis szeretettel. Jézus is szeretettel kapcsolódik minden egyes emberhez. Nem tud is tudna másképpen. Nekem most egy képpel mutatta Jézus, hogy ezt jobban megérthessem:

Láttam egy teljesen torz, sárga, dühös kutya szerű teremtményt, aki mást sem csinált, csak ugatott és ugatott, tele volt haraggal. Nem volt egy szép látvány. Ha bárki odament volna hozzá, azt azonnal megharapta volna, de nem azért, mert bármi oka lenne erre, hanem mert teljesen dühös volt. Folyamatosan ugatott, és nem hagyta abba.
Azután egyszer csak odament hozzá Jézus, és olyan végtelen szeretettel ölelte meg ezt a furcsa lényt, amire ember képtelen lenne. Egyszerűen lehajolt hozzá, és oldalról átölelte a nyakánál. De ez az ölelés nem egy egyszerű ölelés volt: ebben benne volt a teljes elfogadás, a tiszta szeretet és az öröm egyben. Jézus ilyen öleléssel szeretne átölelni mindenkit. Elfogadással, szeretettel, és az örömmel, hogy végre megmutathatja mennyire oda van értünk...

Miközben ezt néztem, hirtelen beugrott egy gondolat, hogy várjunk csak, hogy lehet, hogy ez a kutya szerű dühös teremtmény nem harapja meg Jézust?

Jézus hogy lehet ez? - kérdeztem Tőle. A válasz egyszerű volt:
"Nézd, engem a gonoszság nem érinthet." - válaszolta Jézus.

Ja tényleg... hát végülis ez logikus... :)

De mit is jelent ez a kép valójában? Két dolgot is. Az egyik az, hogy Jézus számára sokkal fontosabb az, hogy szerethessen téged, mint az hogy milyen indulatok vannak benned, és hogy kire vagy dühös, és miért. Jézus számára sokkal fontosabb, hogy megmutathassa elfogadását feléd, mint hogy azt nézné kiről mit gondolsz. Jézus számára az a legfontosabb, hogy megoszhassa veled a szeretetét, a békességét és örömét. Számára az fontosabb, hogy elmondhassa neked, hogy az élet jó, mint az, hogy azon panaszkodj, hogy a te életed milyen rossz. Ő most is át akar ölelni téged.

De van egy másik dolog is, amit ez a kép jelent. Ha szereted Jézust, akkor Ő benned él. Na most gondolj csak bele: ha Jézus benned él, és Őt nem érintheti a gonoszság, akkor az mit is jelent?
Igen, pontosan azt! Akkor az azt jelenti, hogy gonoszság téged sem érinthet!
És most mondhatnád ezt: Tessék? Engem nem érinthet a gonoszság??? De hát folyamatosan azt tapasztalom, hogy ez a világ gonoszsággal van tele, és bizony engem sem hagy békén.

Igen tudom... és hidd el engem sem hagy békén... De gondolj csak bele, ha Jézus annyira benned tudna élni, hogy teljesen kitöltsön, akkor tényleg nem érinthet téged sem a gonoszság, hiszen minden porcikádban ott él Jézus. Ott van minden gondolatodban, ott van minden érzésedben, ott van minden szavadban, ott van minden tettedben.
Amióta ezt a képet megmutatta nekem Jézus, azóta csak az a vágyam, hogy Ő annyira töltsön be engem, hogy a gonoszság engem se érinthessen. Én tiszta szívből erre vágyom.
